Ruby U. Walden of Broken Arrow, OK, was received into heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 23, 2011, at the age of 87. She was born February 19, 1924, in LeFlore County OK, to W.W. and Della Pack Allison. Ruby obtained a cosmetology license and had a successful business and later became a licensed practical nurse (LPN). She was very active in the Baptist Church wherever she lived. Ruby loved missions and helping the needy. She was a gifted quilter and loved gardening and being a homemaker for her husband and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of sixty-two years, Farley Walden; her son Gary Walden; her brothers; and a sister Ruth. Surviving her is her daughter Doris Skidmore and husband Jim, of Broken Arrow, OK; two grandsons, Todd and Daniel Skidmore of Tulsa, OK; granddaughter Jill Marshall and husband Eric; two precious great grand children, Elisabeth and Spencer Marshall; also surviving are two sisters Glenna Johnson of Siloam Springs, AR and Jean Waldner, Marysville, CA;
a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.
