Obituary for
Ruel Lucky Bufford Brand Jr.
Lucky Brand, 62, of Spiro, OK, passed away July 8, 2014, in Spiro. He was born November 28, 1951, in Lake Charles, LA, to Ruel Bufford Brand Sr. and Vernice (Fontenot) Brand. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a long haul truck driver.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a son Richard Brand.
Lucky is survived by his wife of forty years Opal Brand of the home; a son Rocky and wife Lanita Brand of Texas City, TX; a daughter Tasia Brand of Poteau, OK and Carissa and husband Brandon Hendrix of Wilburton, OK; a brother Daniel Brand of Sulpher, LA; six grandchildren; and many more family members, friends and loved ones.
A Memorial Service will be held at a 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Ron Carver officiating. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. You may leave an on-line greeting to the family at www.gracemanorfh.com
