Sandra Davlin-Simpson
Sandra Davlin-Simpson, 64, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Fort Smith, AR. She was born August 19, 1952, in Dallas, TX, to Fred and Sarah (Smith) Ward. She was a Personal Care Assistant.
Sandy was loved by everyone that knew her. She has been described as the sweetest lady, always there for you no matter what. She was "GRANDMA" to everyone including the family friends. She loved everyone unconditionally and would give you anything she had to make your life better. You could always count on getting a hug from her coming and going. Sandy had a heart of gold and will be missed dearly.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father and grandson Tyler Davlin.
Survivors include her mother Sarah Rawlings of Euless, TX; sons, Kevin Simpson of McLean, VA., Brian Simpson and wife Cassie of Shady Point, OK., Gean Davlin Jr. and wife Susan of Shady Point, OK. and Seth Davlin of Dallas, TX.; daughters, Sandra Pierce and husband Mike of Panama, OK., Sharon Johnson and husband Jerry Elam of Pocola, OK., Sylvia Trotter of The Colony, TX., and Sarah Davlin of Ballwin, MO.; brother Randy Ward and wife Freda Colleyville, TX.; Sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as numerous other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Nathen Colbert, Ricky Belt Jr., Michael Qualls, Jake Smith, Sean King and David Watkins. Honorary Pallbearer will be Carl Bolterstein.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Arkoma First Assembly of God Church Arkoma, OK, with Rev. Roger Myers officiating. Interment will follow services at New Hope Cemetery. The Family will greet friends Friday from 5-7 at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
