Brian Wesley Bourne, 43, of Spiro, OK, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010, in Poteau, OK. Brian was born August 16, 1967, in Poteau, OK, to Garry and Mary Sue (Smith) Bourne. He enjoyed going to the races, working on cars, and specialized in paint and collision repair..
He is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Wesley Bourne and Kila Bourne of Cameron, OK, Trevor Bourne of Shady Point, OK and Jorden Smith of Spiro, OK; two daughters, Brianna Bourne of Fort Smith, AR and Ashton Gist of Pocola, OK; his parents, Garry and Mary Sue Bourne of Spiro, OK; one granddaughter Payson Raine Bourne of Cameron, OK; grandparents Lorene Bourne of Bokoshe, OK and M.F. and Reetha Hendricks of Stigler, OK; aunts and uncles, Sandy and Steve Carter, Carolyn and Larry Laymon, Pam and Lesley Garner all of Bokoshe, OK, Starl and Coleen Hendricks of Tulsa, OK, Sherry and Wesley York, Muskogee, OK and Wayne and Patricia Hendricks of Stigler, OK; numerous other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Trevor Bourne, Sam Carter, Sydney Ritter, Terry Bourne, Joseph McKinney, Mike Laymon and Phillip Palmer.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Old Bokoshe Cemetery with Pastor Donald Cherry officiating. Interment will follow the service at Old Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
