Stella Marie Gorham, 94, Bakersfield, CA, passed away peacefully, March 15, 2012, in Bakersfield. She was born October 16, 1917, at Spiro, OK, to Perry Branscum and Mattie (Sherwood) Greenwood. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ of Spiro.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
She is survived by two sons, James Gorham of Sand Springs, OK and Perry Gorham of Bakersfield, CA; three brothers, Jesse Greenwood, George Greenwood and Sam Greenwood; a sister Virginia Lee Miller; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and twenty three great great grandchildren; well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 24, 2012, at Cowlington Cemetery, Cowlington, OK, with Minister Gary James. officiating. Interment will follow service at Cowlington Cemetery, Cowlington, OK. Family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday evening at Grace Manor Funeral Home, Spiro, OK.
