SUSAN MARY (BRYANT) CLINTON, 67, of Ada, OK, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010, in Ada. She was born December 21, 1942, in Albion, Oklahoma, to Joe and Ada Geraldine (Bowles) Bryant. Susan graduated from Talihina High School and attended Whiting Business College and Nancy Taylor Charm and Modeling School in Cleveland, OH. She was a former PBX Operator and Medical Transcriptionist of Talihina Indian Hospital and was of Pentecostal faith.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Nicolette Paige Barton.
Susan is survived by two daughters, Lonna Nicole Barton Place and husband Wayne of Poteau, OK and Angela Michelle Clinton Trejo of Poteau, OK; six brothers, Billy Joe and Carol Bryant of Del City, OK, Bobby Tom and Ann Bryant of Coweta, OK, Kenneth Paul and Sarah Bryant and Joseph Bryant both of Talihina, OK, James and Kathy Bryant of Antlers, OK, Harold Ray Bryant of Antlers, OK; a sister Nyokia Aline Bryant Ware of Ada, OK; six grandchildren, Tia Wade, Antwon Clinton, Trey Place, Kaleb Place, Juan Garay, Victoria Garay-Trejo two aunts, Jean Bryant of Muskogee, OK and Aline Dorsey of Westminster, CO; three cousins, Gayle Piester, Larry Bryant and Charley Bryant; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bryant, Mark Place, Matthew Bryant, Bucky Bryant, J.J. Bryant and James Bryant.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 12, 2010, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel with Rev. Roger Mattox officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau. The family will greet friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
