Syble Killion Perry went home to Jesus on January 23, 2021 at age 79. Syble was born to Floyd and Grace (Hancock) Killion on December 31, 1941 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Syble was blessed to be the oldest of twelve children. She loved all of them dearly and prided herself in being someone who they could always look up to.
Syble married the love of her life, Charles Don Perry, on October 5, 1957. They had two children Charles Don (Donnie) and Johnnie Elaine. Reverend and Sister Perry also pastored the Apostolic Church in Poteau, Oklahoma for 15 years. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother and pastors wife, Syble loved working in her garden, puzzles, flowers and above all else, her children and grandchildren.
Syble was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. In addition, preceding her in death were siblings, Judy, Jerrald, Joyce, and Dale.
She is survived by her son, Donnie and Sharon Perry, her daughter, Elaine and Jeff Jensen, her grandchildren, Joe and Jodi Perry, Bo and Arielle Perry, Charli and Matt Lamb, Levi and Jordan Jensen, her great grandchildren, Katie and Chris White, Kelli and Caleb Swank, Jake Perry, Lariat Frazier, Bryson Jones, Jacie Ty Perry, Spencer Perry, Arizona Perry, Elijah Johnson, Braxton Lamb, Dawson Lamb, Asher Jensen, and Arlo Jensen, great great grandchildren, Morgan Jones and Stella White. She is also survived by her siblings, Mary and Alford Weaver, Janey Hamner, Darrell (Bud) and Martha Killion, Gayle Williamson, Connie Bazzell, Kathy and Coy Richards, and Sherry and Jerald Barlow; brother-in-law Warren and Annis Perry; sister-in-law Evelyn Killion as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services will be held at The Apostolics of Poteau Church on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Reverend Tim Sullivan and Reverend Ron Patrick.
Pallbearers will be Joe Perry, Bo Perry, Levi Jensen, Matt Lamb, Braxton Lamb, Dawson Lamb, Spencer Perry, and Jake Perry. Honorary pallbearers are Asher Jensen and Arlo Jensen.
Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau.
The family will be at Grace Funeral Service in Poteau, Oklahoma, Tuesday January 26, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for visitation.
