Tony Allen Brooks, 56, of Stroud, OK, passed away September 22, 2011, in OKC, OK. He was born January 18, 1955, in Red Oak, OK, to Bob and Ola Mae (Holson) Brooks. He was a salesman for a lumber yard.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and two sisters.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Tony and Rachael Brooks of Poteau; a brother Lonnie Brooks of Poteau; seven sisters, Ruth Duckett of Hartshorne, Betty Looper of Blanchard, Peggy Graham of Washington, OK, Carol Salisburg of Prague, and Shirley Bullard of Ft. Smith, AR, Debbie Hays and Jackie McCracken of Stroud; two grandchildren Grace Brooks, and Tony Allen Brooks III; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family, friends, and loved ones.
Services will be held graveside, Monday, September 26, at 2:00 PM, at the Red Oak Cemetery. Interment will follow service. Viewing will be from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, no viewing Saturday. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma.
