Tyler Seth Davlin, 20, of Shady Point, OK, passed away July 26, 2015. Tyler was born September 2, 1994, in Dallas, TX; to Gean A. Davlin Jr. and Susan L. (Brimer) Davlin. He came into this world against all the odds. Gods plan for his life superceded what most medical professionals predicted. He taught love, kindness, and compassion without ever being able to speak a word. He blessed his family and many others with nothing more than a sweet little smile and adorable laugh. We look forward to seeing and hearing that again when we meet him in Heaven.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers Cleburne Brimer and Jack Simmons.
Tyler is survived by his parents Gean and Susan Davlin of Shady Point, OK; a brother Dylan G. Davlin of the home; a sister Rachel A. Davlin also of the home; grandmothers, Janeene A. Simmons of Van, TX, Kathy Davlin of Pocola, OK, Sandy Simpson of Panama, OK; grandfather Gean Davlin Sr. of Shady Point; and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Michael Qualls, Ricky Belt Jr., Cord Lawrence, Christian Garvin, Dalton Staley and Nick Bryce.
Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, at Poteau First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Keith Williams and Pastor Roger Myers officiating. Interment will follow service at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK. Family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
