Obituary

Joyce Tate, 87, of Cameron, OK, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015, in Fort Smith, AR. She was born May 18, 1928 in Abilene, TX, to Jack and Clara Osborn. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
Survivors include her son Jack Tate and wife Frue of Lavaca, AR; three daughters, JoAnn Hoffman and husband Hicks of Shady Point, OK, Sue Arter of Fort Smith, AR, and Jeri Cain and husband Douglas of Poteau; sister Willow Dene Weatherbee of Lumberton, TX; six grandchildren, Kevin Hoffman, Kristi Usher, Paige Niblett, Bryan Cain, Evan Arter and Emily Arter; eight great grandchildren, Millie Usher, Tatem Usher, Newt Usher, Brett Hoffman, Micah Arter, Tara Arter, Micah Kate Niblett, Tate Niblett; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.

Preceding her in death was her husband Earnest Ray Tate; her parents; her son Jimmy Ray Tate; two grandsons William Ray Tate and Kelly Usher; brother James Osborn and sister Doris Taylor.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, with Pastor David Hardin officiating. Visitation with family will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, August 31st. at the funeral home. Interment will follow service at the Fair Hill Cemetery in Cameron, OK.
