Virginia Ray "Sue" Carpenter of Cameron, Oklahoma was born on January 15, 1943 Ft. Smith, Arkansas and passed away December 14, 2019, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 76.
Virginia is survived by one daughter Donna Duncan and husband Greg, two sons, Glenn Carpenter and Greg Carpenter and wife Cheryl, grandchildren, Sarah Diaz and husband Abraham, Katherine Duncan, Toby and Kyla Carpenter Daws, Justin Carpenter and wife Robyn, Brian Carpenter and wife Tiffany, great grandchildren Elli, John, Takota, Madi, Hailie, Austin, Jaden, Jaxton, Aubrey, two sisters, Ann Hill and Linda Poteet, one brother, Daniel Miller and wife Donna, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Virginia was preceded in death by her mother Bertha (Moss) Henry, two husbands, Donald Lord and Ray Carpenter and one grandson, Azrael Diaz.
Pallbearers will be Abraham Diaz, Rodger Duncan, Greg Duncan, Greg Carpenter, Glenn Carpenter, Jordan Scott, and Toby Carpenter.
Services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Grace Memorial Chapel in Poteau, Oklahoma with Brother Neil ODonnell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Oklahoma under the direction of Grace Funeral Services of Poteau, Oklahoma. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
