Graveside Service for Virginia Lee (Hunter) Woolverton, 90 of Edmond, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Whitesboro Cemetery in Whitesboro, Oklahoma with Reverend Clyde Hess officiating. Burial will follow at Whitesboro Cemetery in Whitesboro, Oklahoma under the direction of Grace Funeral Service.
Virginia Lee (Hunter) Woolverton was born on Saturday, December 19, 1931, in Prairie Grove, Le, Oklahoma, the first of twin daughters, to Casper Harrison (C. H./Biddie) Hunter, Jr. and Nora Beatrice (Buttress) Hunter. She was the sixth of eight children born to this marriage and had three (3) siblings from her mothers second marriage as well as six (6) step-siblings from her fathers second marriage.
Known as Gina (pronounced Jenna), to family and friends, Virginia passed from this life to be with our Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the age of 90 3/4 years.
Virginia had a strong faith in the Lord and she attended Whitesboro Assembly of God Church and Faith Pentecostal Church in Talihina while living in the area and since moving to Edmond, OK, late she attended Edmond Church of God.
Virginia was preceded in death by both parents and all of her siblings, her daughter, Rhonda (Morgan) Howard, her husband and father of her children, Robert Lee Morgan, her second husband, Lovell A. Bannowsky, and her late husband, James H. Woolverton.
Virginia is survived by her Son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Sherry (Rose) Morgan of Newcastle, OK, her Daughter: Wanda (Morgan) Cothren, of Chickasha, OK and three grandchildren: Stephanie (Howard) and Michael Sanderson of Edmond, OK; Brandon Morgan of Newcastle, OK; Matthew and Nakisha (Ward) Howard of Tuttle, OK and five (5) great grandchildren: Braden Howard, Cody Sanderson, Brianna Howard, Cade Sanderson and Kaitlyn Morgan. She is survived as well by many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends
