Wanda Jean Rice, 71, of Cameron, OK, passed away November 7, 2011, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born December 02, 1939, at Cameron, OK, to Johnny and Ruth (Seaton) Morris. Wanda Jean Morris married Bill Rice on November 21, 1962, in Cameron. Jean retired from Cameron School System after twenty eight years of teaching and from CASC where she served as evening Librarian for eleven years.
Jean is survived by her husband Bill of the home; a son and daughter in law, Kelly Rice and wife Amy of Cameron; a daughter and son-in-law, Kara Westhoff and husband Jim of Broken Arrow, OK; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Jonathan, Nathan, Seth, Jade, Kevin and Kaitlin, as well as numerous other family friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Scott Clark, Jackie Farrar, Jamie Kirkpatrick, Kevin Adams, Lloyd Jaegar and Rod Brooks.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at the Immanuel Baptist Church, Poteau OK, with Bro. Rick Snyder and Bro. Bryan Fields officiating. Interment will follow service at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. Family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma.
