William Lewis Puckette II, 31, of Poteau, OK, passed away May 3, 2011, in Rochester, MN. He was born November 25, 1979, in Batesville, AR, to William Lewis and Vera (Brassfield) Puckette. Lewis received a Bachelors of Business from NSU and was Director of Technology for the City of Poteau.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Oneta Puckette; maternal grandparents Charles and Pauline Brassfield.
William is survived by his father William Lewis Puckette of Poteau; his mother Vera Puckette of Springdale, AR; a brother Charles Lee Puckette and wife Mariessa Dewey of Colcord, OK; a sister Holly and husband Joshua Lannigan of Naples, Italy; nieces and nephews Ashlynn Isabella Lannigan, Ember Puckette, Lily Clark, Charles Slade Puckette and River Puckette; as well as numerous other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Michael Killion, Scott Killian, J.D. Armstrong, Matt Ellis, Jeremy Quarry, Andy Nance, Jody Thompson and Chris Ford.
Service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Immanuel Baptist Church, Poteau, OK, with Bro. Jason Waymire officiating. Interment will follow service at Stapp-Zoe Cemetery, Zoe, OK. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 8:00 PM Friday afternoon at the funeral home. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma
