Obituary

Wilma Sue Marler, 81, Cameron, OK, passed away January 26, 2012, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born October 6, 1930, at Washburn, AR, to Roland Rease and Ocie Bell (Gipson) Francis. Wilma was a homemaker, a retired nursing assistant and a member of the Bennington Pentecostal Church. For many years she provided a loving home environment for approximately sixty foster children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carrol Cooper who helped raise her children; five brothers, Gene, Elmer, Velmer, Alford and Orb Francis; a sister Ernestine Johnson; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Wilma is survived by her husband James Marler of the home; four sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Lovell of Cameron, OK, Terry and Cheryl Lovell of Shady Point, OK, D.J. and Cassie Lovell of Pea Ridge, AR, Steve Lovell of Poteau, OK; a daughter Linda Niblett of, Cameron, OK; a brother Troy Francis of Panama, OK; thirteen grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Service will be held at 10:00 Monday, January 30, 2012, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Bro. Jackie Edwards officiating. Interment will follow the service at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. Family will greet friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
